If you want to really „take a deep breath“ in the Waldviertel, the Schlesinger pond in Bärnkopf a wonderful destination: quietly situated, surrounded by forest - perfect for Walking, swimming, relaxing or also to the Fishing. The pond was built around 200 years originally for the Wood glut and today has an area of around 5.5 ha.

The Schlesingerteich is just right if you like it Natural and uncomplicated like: a quick trip to the water, a few steps along the shore, your feet in the water - and you're in vacation mode.
Please remember (as everywhere in nature) to be considerate: Take your garbage back with you, be careful on the shore and keep an eye on the depth of the water, especially with children.
