A Special Place of Rest in Gutenbrunn

The octagonal Gutenbrunn inhalatorium is one of the unique little attractions in our town.

Surrounded by green spaces, flowers, trees, and places to sit, the grounds provide a pleasant setting for a relaxing break.

There’s no time pressure here, and no elaborate program. You take a seat, listen to the gentle lapping of the water, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

This makes the inhalatorium particularly interesting for:

  • People seeking relaxation
  • Senior citizens
  • Families with children
  • Hikers and cyclists
  • Vacationers with Dogs
  • Guests who want to consciously slow down
  • People looking for a short break in nature

How does the inhaler work?

Inside the pavilion, saltwater or brine trickles over a bundle of fir twigs. As it does so, fine water particles and the natural fragrances of the fir twigs are released into the surrounding air.

This creates a fresh and pleasantly aromatic atmosphere in the pavilion.

Waldviertel Tourism describes the atmosphere inside as Mediterranean.

At the Gutenbrunn Inhalatorium, this air quality promotes a sense of well-being.

For more information, please contact Waldviertel Tourism.

Many visitors find even just a few quiet minutes in the pavilion to be pleasant. The combination of forest air, the scent of pine, water, and the relaxed atmosphere of the park is especially lovely.
